Situated in Torver, Ash Gill Cottages are just a stones throw away from two great pubs. The Wilson's Arms is a mere 120 yards from door to door and serves great food and has a wide selection of beers. Within just another 100 yards is The Church House which serves excellent food and offers a friendly evening's entertainment.

Both are award winning establishments so you are sure to have a good time whichever one you visit.

Local Attractions for Walking Enthusiasts

For walking enthusiasts Torver is a great start point to enjoy 'The Old Man' range, Dow Crag, Walner Scar Road and access to Wetherlam. In addition to fell walks there are plenty of local walks to take in the magnificent Coniston Lake, Torver Common and Tarn Hows.
